Here are some of my favorite looks from 2023. I’m very grateful to have created for various fun collaborations and worked on several personal projects that I truly enjoyed. My work for this year’s @nyxcosmetics Global Halloween Campaign was also featured on a billboard in Times Square which was a major highlight for me! Most importantly, I’ve officially made it through the first year of motherhood which has been by far the most joyful yet one of the most humbling and challenging experiences of my life. I am thankful to be feeling such peace and happiness at this point of my life and very excited to see what new adventures 2024 has to bring! 🌟

The pandemic sucked in a lot of ways but being able to create art literally whenever I wanted, all day and night, is something that I reminisce quite a bit. I thrive in solitude so in general lockdowns weren’t hard for me.
This look was inspired by Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s “Water”, 1566. I remember first encountering his work at @museelouvre in 2017 and was absolutely awestruck. I stared at his paintings for half an hour studying every detail. This illusion took me about 13 hours to finish which included a nap that gave me enough energy to finish it off with a crab and seaweed on my chest.
