Saturday really had me living a double life 😅—PTF President mode and wedding guest mode all in one!
Started the day at our school’s Spring Fun Fair with my VIP bosses, Zaya and Ryan 💼😂 Zaya came fully prepared with a serious to-do and must-buy list 😁 (thank you to her generous Aunties and Uncles for funding the mission 🤩), while Ryan kept it simple—football, games, and pure vibes ❤️⚽
Honestly, my heart is so full knowing the kids and parents had such a great time 😊 My incredible team and I pulled this whole event together in just 2 weeks 🙌🏽—what you didn’t see behind the scenes? A whole lot of hard work, dedication, and love 💪🏽✨
Then like magic ✨ I dashed off to celebrate Chinonso & Cross—such a beautiful wedding 💍💕 Got to catch some special moments with my people before zooming right back like I never left 😄

The TEDxMaitama Women Decision Makers’ Workshop was a thoughtful and deeply insightful session. The focus was on: how do we actually build systems that truly support women?
It was a privilege to have voices from the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Foundation, represented by its Director of Programs and Administration @mukyvivian , the DAP Group of companies represented by its CEO @iam_chefmimi , Skin Therapy Beauty and Spa represented by its CEO @mimiwhyte , and the @undpnigeria represented by it’s Portfolio Impact Learning Lead, Chiedu Nwokolo and ONE campaign represented by its Executive Director, Serah Makka; join in on this conversation.
The conversation was grounded in real experience and a shared sense of responsibility. It pushed us to rethink what is possible in policy, business, and development.
The big takeaway? Systems do not just come together on their own. They work when they’re built with intention and shaped around the people they’re meant to serve.
That is BEYOND SELF!
