Yesterday we played our last Switzerland show in Berns' wonderful multipurpose event space @mimimi.live (lead by Igor & Malou). We even had a chance to share a stage with Swiss legend of velotours Peter Sarbach! Whole past 2 weeks with Jan Řepka (sometimes supported by amazing @dixjeanpierre ) were just a ride 🚲 and I will need to slowly process all of it, when we get back home🏠🇨🇿

JAN REPKA braucht man in der Schweiz kaum mehr vorzustellen. Er singt Mani Matter auf Tschechisch so gut, als wäre Matter irgendwann ins Berndeutsche übersetzt worden. Zu Ehren des 90en Geburtstages von Mani Matter begibt sich Repka jetzt zusammen mit seinem langjährigen Mitmusiker Honza Bartosek auf eine Velotour quer durch die Schweiz. Die beiden starten am 22. April in St.Gallen. Die nächsten Etappen sind Balzers, Pfäffikon, Zürich, Baar, Luzern, Steinen und Uettligen. Am 3. Mai schliesslich findet die 'Tour d'Honneur' in Bern statt: im MiMiMi - der Kulturnhalle im Zentrum der Altstadt, wo Repka vor drei Jahren zur Eröffnung aufgespielt hat. Wir freuen uns auf sein neues Set aus Liedern von Matter, Waits, Sarbach, Repka und anderen Velofahrern. He sings Mani Matter in Czech so well, it's as if Matter had somehow been translated into Bernese German. To honor Mani Matter's 90th birthday, Repka and his longtime musical partner Honza Bartosek are embarking on a bicycle tour across Switzerland. They'll start in St. Gallen on April 22nd. Their next stops are Balzers, Pfäffikon, Zurich, Baar, Lucerne, Steinen, and Uettligen. Finally, on May 3rd, the 'Tour d'Honneur' will take place in Bern: at MiMiMi – the cultural center in the heart of the old town, where Repka performed at the opening three years ago. We look forward to his new set of songs by Matter, Waits, Sarbach, Repka, and other cyclists.
