It was New Year’s Day and some crazy aussies came surfing with us on @milosurfboat .
Looking back that was one of the times I fell in love with winter boating. Now I’m posting this from @thealaskangypsylife at anchor in southeast #Alaska. Yeah, I live on a boat now.
No more boat trips.

Last August we spent 10 days traveling aboard the M/V Milo on a surf and documentary filming trip. It was a true blast from the past for Scott and a clear reminder of how he became comfortable living self-reliant at sea.🌊
So much of his confidence and experience came from time spent on that boat. We were grateful to share the trip with Mike and Wendy, who we love, and had an amazing time with the rest of the crew and talent. 🏄♂️ 🎥

It’s been about 15 years now of pioneering surf around #alaska and I’m not sure if anyone is growing up anymore.

Long dusk sessions are why a cold water surf trip to Alaska is worth every layer of neoprene because the summertime light hangs on for hours. We surfed til our arms were noodles because out here you can just keep going until the tide says otherwise. @milosurfboat
