These handcrafted knit textures push sustainable design, Kuala Lumpur–based designer Aishah Haziyah explores sustainable knitwear through a final-year ready-to-wear collection that transforms responsible yarns and upcycled fibres from old knitwear into bold, expressive garments. Combining hand knitting, machine knitting, and crochet, the project builds a rich surface language of layered textures, playful silhouettes, and maximalist colour, offering a fresh perspective on circular fashion. It’s a reminder that sustainable design can be just as inventive, individual, and visually striking as it is thoughtful.
