This is one of those extensive “thank you” posts but I realised there’s way too many people involved to shout out each one of you when Instagram allows me to use only 2.200 characters in this description… anyway I would like to address these THANK YOU’s to: Gentucca for all the trust you put in us since the beginning, ever since we met for the interview last year I knew we share certain perspective - no words can describe how loved you made me feel. I want to say THANK YOU to the whole .MgC team: G, S, T, K, P, F, A, M, R, V, A - I don’t think any one of us expected it’ll actually work out so well, these past months were the time of the best teamwork I’ve ever experienced. THANK YOU to all the designers and their families for believing in us. To all the dressers, models, MUA’s, whole photo and video team - THANK YOU for making this happen. To all the partners and supporters of the project, for the trust and resources to build this platform - THANK YOU. THANK YOU to my parents, brothers and rest of the family that was supporting us through the process, thank you to all of my day ones and all the friends I met along the way, both in Poland and Italy. Thank you to all those people to whom I mentioned this project before and none of you doubted our abilities to execute it. I would like to thank all my role models, the ones that are reading this right now and the ones that will read it in the future. You guys keep inspiring me on the daily. No one ever does things just by themselves. What I learned so far is that as long you have friends around - everything is available. This post also serves role of an archive of the ideas - every sketch, conversation, encounter and feeling led to creation of Middle Ground Center. We made it for our friends as we believe the current institutional fashion system is not working, paying thousands for education and not being able to showcase your work to larger audience is ridiculously unfair, especially when there’s no explanation of the decision made by "jury". This was our first time, just imagine the next one.
