Buon 1° maggio. Durante le riprese di “Bella Ciao – Song of Rebellion”, abbiamo incontrato Paolo Pietrangeli. Tra i tanti ricordi, racconta di una manifestazione a Pisa. Un corteo lungo i Lungarni, un fiume di studenti. A un certo punto, dal fondo, parte Contessa. Lui non se lo aspettava. Non c’erano dischi, non c’erano registrazioni, non c’era la radio. Solo la voce. Si tirò fuori dal corteo e vide, per la prima volta, tutti quei ragazzi cantare quella “cosetta che avevo scritto”. Cinquant’anni dopo, quella cosetta la cantiamo ancora. Buona festa dei lavoratori.
