We are pleased to announce that we are unveiling pieces from our first collection at the Matière Sensible exhibition, presented by @nouveaumilieu from May 1 to 3 at the Couvent des Franciscains.
Matière Sensible explores reuse as a starting point: transforming what already exists, working with what is already there, and extending the life of materials through new forms.
Come discover the exhibition and enter into this dialogue between memory, matter, and transformation.
To make is also to remember. Through instinct, repetition and the decisions that echo our origins. Even when we move forward, something of where we come from remains embedded. subtle, but present.
In that sense, every project becomes a continuation. A way of grounding ourselves while reaching toward something new.

Créer, c’est aussi se souvenir. Par l’instinct, la répétition et des choix qui font écho à nos origines. Même en avançant, quelque chose de là d’où l’on vient reste ancré. Subtil, mais présent.
Dans ce sens, chaque projet devient une continuité. Une manière de s’ancrer tout en tendant vers quelque chose de nouveau.

Hi, we are Yann and Alexandre, cousins from Togo, West Africa based in Montreal, Canada.
Millor Studio started from the way we grew up seeing objects, not just as things to use, but as carriers of memory, culture, and heritage.
With Millor Studio, we bring that way of seeing into contemporary design. We revisit familiar forms, honoring their history while giving them new life, keeping the care, meaning, and presence they have always carried.
