Last Friday, the beloved @colmadocoffee hosted 1202 MAGAZINE’s “WOAH, DEMBOW” party. Here, we kicked off the jam-packed weekend, celebrating the Dominican parade and the rich history and culture of the Dominican people. On the first warm day of the year in New York City, I linked up with Chicago and Harlem rappers, producers, and artists @dreamtwat and @thxto_klk , who make up the epochal duo @thottwat . We wandered around the bustling Lower East Side on a 70-degree day, and the art scene guys did anything they could to get a word with them. Despite packing out Market Hotel with @asaprocky the night before, they were ready to take on the city from here on out.
