Facts or Fishy? 👀🐟
Sardines get better with age.
FACT! – Canned sardines are one of the few foods that actually improve with age — the bones soften further, the flavour mellows, and the oil integrates more deeply. However, we still recommend you keep an eye on the expiry date! 🐟 🕰️

Are anchovies on toast ACTUALLY good?? 🐟✨🍞
The answer is: Yes.
Crispy, buttery sourdough topped with rich anchovy fillets and a bright, zesty parsley-shallot salad. It’s salty, fresh, and perfectly balanced in every bite.
Ingredients
1 slice sourdough bread
1-2 tbsp butter (cold, sliced)
4-5 Club des Millionnaires Flat Fillets of Anchovies in Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ a shallot, thinly sliced
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice (plus extra to finish)
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp capers, roughly chopped
Flaky sea salt, to taste
Directions
Thinly slice shallots and combine with parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, and capers. Let sit while you prepare the toast (you can also soak shallots in cold water first for extra crispness and a milder flavour).
Toast sourdough until very crispy. Top immediately with cold butter, allowing it to melt slightly into the toast.
Place 3–4 anchovy fillets on each slice.
Top generously with the parsley-shallot salad.
Finish with an extra squeeze of lemon and flaky sea salt if desired.
