This Family First Aid Course is designed to equip parents and carers with essential first aid skills applicable to both children and adults. The course covers a broad range of topics, including: 🌟Understanding the contents of a first aid kit 🌟Maintaining first aid hygiene 🌟Performing CPR 🌟Managing choking incidents 🌟Placing individuals in the recovery position 🌟Treating bleeds and burns 🌟Recognising and responding to allergies 🌟Handling febrile convulsions or seizures 🌟Demonstration on how to use a defibrillator These are bookable events only. Exciting news — our Millies Mark accreditation has been successfully renewed! We are incredibly proud to have held this prestigious accreditation since 2019, demonstrating our long-standing commitment to exceptional safety and care standards. Millie’s Mark is named in memory of Millie Thompson, who tragically passed away in 2012 after choking on food at nursery when she was just nine months old. The award stands as the gold standard in paediatric first aid for childcare providers across the UK. Achieving and maintaining Millie’s Mark shows our dedication to ensuring that our staff are equipped with the knowledge and confidence that could one day help save a child’s life. We’re proud to share that all of our team members who work directly with children — including our management team — hold full paediatric first aid qualifications, trained by @tigerlilytraining This renewal reflects our continued commitment to providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for every child in our care.

💙 A Huge Thank You to Millie’s Trust! 💙 Yesterday, our Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils took part in an amazing First Aid workshop delivered by Millie’s Trust. 🩺 They learned how to assess for danger, perform CPR, put someone in the recovery position and assist a person who is choking.
