A few years ago, when I released my second kids’ book on Amazon Kindle, some random nut job on social media told me they hoped I’d drown in acid. (Yeah, unhinge is the understatement of that year.) So what did I do? Meh, nothing much—just won another grant, finished three more books this spring. I didn’t just double down—I tripled up. I’m excited to announce that, like my previous releases, these puppies are available on Amazon Kindle—but this time, hardcovers are also coming to Barnes & Noble this summer. Special thanks to Redline Contemporary Art for the funding and all the support along the way, letting me share part of my heritage with the world. It’s wild that we’re actually six months ahead of schedule and right on time for APPI month. More books are on the way, and I’m pumped for what’s next. PS: still no paper cut and cant wait to read these to my boys 🐱🐱✨😎👍🏻

One year in 🎬. We’re humbled and in awe of the people, memories, and stories that have shaped this community we call home. We’re still learning, listening, and building, guided by the foundation our families laid. Thank you to every person who shared space with us for “There’s a Lane For Us Here.” With love from @lionheartmotionworks team and our collaborators in Little Saigon Denver ❤️

✨ Behind the scenes and behind the art ✨Wishing the happiest birthday to @millie_d_mac , our marvelous graphic artist and creative force behind the poster for “There’s a Lane for Us Here.” She’s also been instrumental in conducting interviews in Vietnamese alongside @hannahtrance , like this one with Su Ngoc Minh of Kim Jewelers. So much gratitude! Chúc mừng sinh nhật, My Linh! 💛

“There’s a Lane for Us Here” trailer drops next week! We’ve been working on a documentary that traces Denver’s Little Saigon along Federal Blvd, where generations of Vietnamese, Southeast, and East Asian refugees built a cultural home through food, family, and business. This poster, inspired by the act of remembering, like a drawing from memory, offers a first glimpse of what’s to come. As we end AANHPI Heritage Month and head into National Immigrant Heritage Month in June, we honor stories rooted in place-making, survival, and intergenerational storytelling. Follow our accounts to be the first to see it ⬇️ #littlesaigon #denver #documentary

Is it weird to be jealous of your (this) painting for going to so many cool places when you can’t? Angard Art Hotel in St Louis, Damac Park Towel in Dubai and Red Dot in Miami Beach. This piece been with me for 2 weeks since completed 2 years ago. 😜 #internationalartists #contemporarypainting #blackandwhitepainting
