Making this film specifically for a competition, Nondecomposable was a special challenge for me. I’ve always struggled with wanting to make scripts longer, so being limited to only being allowed a five minute runtime challenged me in a way I never had been before. The challenge was to make a horror film, but instead of jump scares I knew I wanted to lean into the unnerving aspects of The Twilight Zone and how those stories fear factor lingered. This film was made as a submission to @plasticpollutes festive “Plastic Kills… Again!” with a goal to bring awareness to the dangers of plastic pollution through horror short films and we were fortunate enough to come in third place amongst some truly top tier films!! Thank you so much to everyone involved with the festival. I would also like to thank my incredible cast and crew who took this incredibly short film, and helped elevate it to one of the projects I’m most proud of! My gratitude is endless 🫂🫂
