This BMW V12 block is getting our NSC (Nickel Silicon Carbide) plating service - a major upgrade to the cylinder surface engineered for performance and longevity.
NSC creates an ultra-hard, low-friction bore that improves ring seal, reduces wear, stabilizes temperatures, and maintains precise geometry under high load. For an engine like this V12, it means smoother operation, better efficiency, and long-term durability.

We recently had a customer bring in a cylinder head from a Dodge Neon that showed an extreme case of core shift.
Core shift happens during the casting process when the internal molds move slightly, causing the ports and passages to be misaligned. The result? Uneven airflow, restricted performance, and areas that just aren’t doing the engine any favors.
To bring this head back to life, we went to work with precision hand porting—correcting the overlap caused by the shift and reshaping the ports where it mattered most. Not only did we clean up the inconsistencies, but we also significantly improved airflow throughout the head.
The end result is a properly balanced, better-flowing cylinder head that’s ready to perform the way it should have from the start. More efficiency, more power, and one happy customer.

Individually box each cylinder before placing them into a larger shipping box.
Once your package is in the hands of the carrier, handling is out of our control—and loose cylinders in one box can easily lead to serious damage.
We recently received a shipment where over half the cylinders were damaged beyond repair due to improper packaging.
A little extra cardboard and prep time goes a long way in protecting your parts—and avoiding costly setbacks.
