What will Birmingham look like in 2050? Nobody can no for sure. That's the point. That's why we're opening up that question to the whole city. From schools and artists, to your nan, the kid down the road with big ideas, and everyone in between, we want to hear what you think this amazing place has the potential to be like in (just under) 25 years. If you've got thoughts and ideas on where our amazing city could be heading, draw it, film it, sing it, build it, write it. Whatever gets it out of your head. No negativity. Just sharing of ideas! Select submissions will be featured publicly and brought together in an exhibition later this year. Hit the link in the bio to head to our submissions portal and get involved now! #Birmingham2050 #birminghamuk #brum #thefuture

Scholarship applications for 2026 are now open! Applications are now open for a fully funded undergraduate degree at Birmingham City University, available to one student from the West Midlands. With tuition fees removed entirely, the degree, made possible through funding from the Millennium Point Charitable Trust, gives the successful applicant the chance to focus fully on their studies and future career. It is a significant opportunity for a talented individual ready to take the next step. The scholarship supports study within the School of Architecture, Built Environment, Computing and Engineering, and is open to applicants whose interests and ambitions align with this area. If this sounds like you, or someone you know, now is the time to apply. Find out more and apply via the link in bio. #Scholarship #Birmingham #WestMidlands #Students #HigherEducation

We believe in action. And we are working to help close the STEM gap in our region. At Millennium Point, your event becomes part of the solution, with every booking helping to fund real STEM opportunities across the West Midlands. Just like this one at @dudley_college Think scholarships, projects, pathways and grants - you help us support the development of future STEM careers. That's how we do it: one event at a time. #stemeducation #westmidlands #careergrowth

Every event is shaped by the people behind it. That's why our new supplier series will shine a spotlight on the people who make events at our venue special, sharing their stories, values and what drives them on. First up, it's @aceventcatering - our long‑standing catering partner, who work directly out of our onsite kitchen (fully electric, might we add!) To see what owner Brian Ryan has to say about it all, hit the link in the bio. #eventprofs #catering #eventsupplier

HOMEMADE WITH LOVE Our brilliant catering partner @aceventcatering works out of our all-new, onsite (fully electric) kitchen to bring you the nourishment you need for a busy event day. And for today's client, they've gone and made some downright tasty, homemade sausage rolls. Anyone else jealous? Who doesn't love a sausage roll, after all? #catering #events #kitchen

"The auditorium works because it's built around the experience, not just the event. Walk in and you know you're somewhere that can keep attention," says Abbie, our CEO. "That matters, whether it's a conference, a screening or something live. For us, it's about creating a space where people actually engage with what's in front of them.” Our 354-capacity auditorium is April's Space of the Month (featuring Birmingham's biggest screen, no less) and we think it's pretty special! If you want to come and take a look, just get in touch. Our amazing in-house team, makes sure every event in this space is a memorable one. Getting to Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum just got easier. The new @officialwestmidlandsmetro tram extension now runs directly to @millenniumpoint , connecting this part of the city with the wider network across Birmingham and even out to Wolverhampton. Trams now branch off from Corporation Street, stopping at Albert Street before continuing on to Millennium Point - putting the museum right on the line. With services running every 15 minutes, and selected existing trams now diverted to serve these new stops, visiting Thinktank is simpler, smoother… and just one tram ride away.

Inception is one of those films that just HAS to be on a big screen. Thankfully, we've got that covered! Dom Cobb and his team move through layers of dreams, planting an idea inside a target's mind. The further they go, the less certain everything becomes. This is a film that rewards full attention, and Birmingham's biggest screen is the right place to give it that. Tickets are £12, or £10 for students (bring your i.d.). The bar opens at 6:45pm and the film starts at 7:30pm with no adverts. Rated PG-13. Non-refundable. Book tickets now at the link in the bio! #inception #film #birminghamuk🇬🇧
