There is one day left to cast your vote!
The Millbrook Listening Project is a year-long listening campaign designed to gather input and identify what residents of the Town of Washington and Village of Millbrook care about most when thinking about the future of our community.
Between September 2025 and January 2026, residents were asked to submit their community projects or ideas through listening events, word of mouth, and online engagement.
A town-wide community ballot is now available for all residents to vote on their top 3 priorities. The goal is to determine these priorities and build community engagement, and focus around these projects. The group also hopes to attract and establish sustainable funding streams to make these ideas a reality.

We had a sweet visit from Dutch yesterday, who is part of the Puppies Behind Bars program! He got lots of pets and playtime 🐶 We will have another puppy visitor in June, so stay tuned!

We had a great turnout for our opening of the next MAP exhibition, un real! This program is hosted in coordination with Millbrook Arts Group (@millbrookartsgroup ), and the work will be on display through the end of June.
The next event tied to this exhibition will be a conversation with the artists on Saturday, June 6th at 1:00.

Our UN REAL Exhibition is going up and opens May 8!
Un Real is an exhibition of six contemporary artists Fern Apfel, Betsy Brandt, Monica Miller Link, Kevin Mosca, Laura Von Rosk, and Daniel Walworth who share a commitment to looking closely at the world, yet what emerges in their work is something far more complex than simple representation. Drawing from diverse source material – archival ephemera, woodland observation, cinematic landscapes and invented narratives – the familiar is rendered with such clarity that it slips into something less certain.
Un Real opens Friday, May 8 and runs through Sunday, June 28, 2026. The public is invited to an Opening Reception on Friday, May 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Conversation with Artists: Fern Apfel, Monica Miller Link and Kevin Mosca is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 1:00 PM.
