Still thinking about Sunday.
Five wines.
Five independent makers.
Regions most people couldnât place on a map.
Wines that make you rethink what is possible in a glass. Co-ferments with tea, old-vine Muscat, grasevina that has spent 30 days on the skins in taoguan clay amphora.
A huge thank you to Camden Hauge, founder of China Wine Club, for an afternoon that quietly shifted something. I lived in China briefly in my twenties â tasting these wines brought something back and pointed toward something new.
Working on getting these to California. More soon. đ€

Weâre still confirming a couple more tasting events but super excited for this monthâs line up.
Started a craft & drink themed night on Tuesdays. Come through and finish the scarf youâve been working on for the SF Summer.
More info will be posted on the website tomorrow.
Happy Sunday âš
From last weekâs tasting with @koimari_official with @mtcsake_la đ
The Maeda family specialized in making kimonos and started brewing sake in 1909 in Saga. The sakes are complex while still being light bodied and refreshing, perfect for summer.
Donât worry if you missed it, the sakes will be available as the featured brewers flight while supplies last.
March is almost ending and we had some changes to the schedule. The @mtcsake_la tasting got moved to April 1st and @herebeforesf is joining us on the last Monday of the month. See yâall soon.

Hiyu Wine Tasting
Weâre pouring a special flight of @hiyuwinefarm on Thursday, 3/19. We have a limited amount of wine so try to come early.
San Francisco industry and small business appreciation post. In a city this size there always seems to be a familiar face around the corner and everywhere feels like home. â€ïž
Overdue appreciation post to our tiny crew that keeps the wine & sake flowing. So thankful to have the calming, funny and beautiful energy from these amazing humans. We got to go to House of Prime Rib earlier this month and eat to our hearts content. Also found out that HOPR serves piña coladas!
