Eight-legged wine tasting.
Meet my latest drinking buddy. This little explorer decided the rim of my wine glass was the perfect evening boardwalk. Thanks to the magic of macro photography, you can see stunning details.
It turns out she’s likely a Striped Orb-Weaver (Mangora acalypha). You can tell by those gorgeous yellow highlights and that intricate, embroidered-looking pattern on her back.
Don't worry, she didn't take a dip—just enjoyed the view and went on her merry, eight-legged way.
Cheers to the tiny details we usually miss! 🥂✨

The Art of Silence
Walking past a shop window, this striking sculpture stopped me in my tracks, this had to be my entry for the latest challenge set by @dawleylad on the theme of "Silence". Sometimes the quietest moments make the strongest statements. What does silence look like to you? ✨

The Art of the Munch
Did you know? – Camel Edition 🧐🌵
• Tough as Nails: Camels have extremely thick, leathery lips and a special oral mucosa. This allows them to eat even thorny cacti without getting injured. The thorns even help them hold slippery plants better in their mouths.
• The 8-Hour Shift: A camel spends about 6 to 8 hours a day grazing and another 6 to 8 hours thoroughly chewing it again as a “ruminant.”
• Side-to-Side Magic: Unlike us, camels chew in a grinding side-to-side motion. This is much more energy-efficient for grinding tough desert plants almost into powder.

A Study in Stability
While we often look to the sky to admire a seagull's grace, their true story is written in the sand. These weathered, webbed feet are a masterclass in biological engineering, designed to navigate the shifting tides and treacherous winds of the coast with unwavering steady footing.

Liquid Loop | Industrial Curves
A landmark turned upside down. This reflection captures the unmistakable silhouette of Tiger & Turtle – Magic Mountain in Duisburg. What is usually a towering, steel tribute to the industrial heritage of the Ruhr area is transformed here into a dark, liquid ripple.
The contrast between the gritty, earthbound mud and the sky-high "walkable roller coaster" creates a beautiful irony. It’s a perspective that strips away the massive scale of the sculpture, leaving behind only its graceful, looping bones. In this puddle, the "Tiger" (the speed of the coaster's shape) and the "Turtle" (the slow pace of the visitor) find a quiet, monochromatic harmony.

The Walkable Loop
Life isn’t always a straight path; sometimes it’s a series of loops and turns that lead you to a better view. Exploring the surreal curves of this landmark, where industrial heritage meets artistic wonder. A reminder that even the heaviest steel can look like it’s dancing.
Tiger & Turtle – Magic Mountain
Design by Heike Mutter & Ulrich Genth
Info: Opened in 2011 in Duisburg, Germany, this large-scale sculpture is one of the most photographed landmarks in the Ruhr region. While it mimics the silhouette of a high-speed rollercoaster, it is actually a walkway consisting of 349 steps. The design plays with the paradox of speed and standstill: the form suggests a fast-paced thrill, yet every meter must be conquered slowly on foot. The loop itself remains—for obvious physical reasons—the only part that cannot be walked.

“Walls don’t just separate cities — they speak for them.”
Layers of posters, murals, and paint tell Milan’s urban stories.
Faces emerge from torn paper, children push against invisible walls, peace becomes a statement painted larger than life.
These streets are a living gallery — raw, political, hopeful, and constantly changing.
Photographed in Milan, where art doesn’t hang quietly, it takes up space.
