It’s been busy and it’s been wonderful sometimes overwhelming but I have to say I am so grateful to be really going for it in life like this
Your emotions are not bad. They’re human. ✨
On today’s High Vibration Living episode, @millanasnow shares how we’ve been conditioned to suppress the full spectrum of our emotions, when feeling deeply is actually part of being alive.
Joy and grief.
Fear and power.
Tenderness and strength.
Breathwork can help expand your capacity to hold it all instead of numbing, avoiding, or shutting down.
Because healing isn’t about becoming less emotional.
It’s about becoming more present with yourself. 🎧

Emotional attunement is the ability to be aware of, understand, and respond to a partner’s emotions with empathy and then share your inner world openly so that they can attune and reflect it back to you.
It involves “tuning in” to subtle cues like body language or tone of voice rather than just words. And then sharing your heart and inner world with depth and openness in return.
Emotional attunement is the capacity to feel yourself first, and then feel another person. Not just hear them. Not just understand them. Actually feel and experience them.
It begins with self-intimacy. Being in honest relationship with your own interior world, your own body, what is true in you right now.
From there it asks for courage. To bring what is real in you into your connection with another person. To let yourself be seen in the unresolved places.
And then it requires presence. Deep listening. Not waiting for your turn to speak but actually taking the other person in. But share the felt experience of having that emotional connection with each other.
When that happens, something shifts. Something that was off comes into harmony. You feel it. You feel each other. That is attunement.
This is the foundation of any real relationship. Especially a romantic one.
No matter what your family is like, it’s important that you decide what a healthy family looks like for you.
And you need space, distance and time away from your family to form your own definitions and values.
This was the conversation I was having with my sister @__jillofalltrades_ and thought I’d share.
Emotional attunement can feel uncertain and uncomfortable, at first but when you work through it within yourself and your relationships, a new depth of intimacy is reached on the other side.
The full moon in #scorpio has pushed my art from the background of my life to the foreground. It’s a part of myself that I have kept in the dark for so long. Now it’s pouring out of me.
Maybe it’s the Catskills that called me here to start making art again. What was once his a whisper, is much louder now. I’m listening.
And yes slide 2 is lil Millana 🥰
