Moments from Wine Fest 🇫🇷🍷
We were proud to support the Vancouver International Wine Festival once again this year—an exceptional showcase of world-class wines. Cheers to another unforgettable celebration!
The agency world has long been known for burnout and long hours. We believe there’s another way.
Since October, MILK Creative Communications has been piloting a four-day work week. Today, we’re making it official, and we’re proud to be among the first boutique PR agencies in Western Canada to make this shift.
So, how does it work in an always-on industry like PR? We approached it creatively: our team now operates on a rotating schedule – some team members are off Fridays, others Mondays. Clients still get support five days a week, and the team enjoys more balance.
And no, we haven’t extended hours to compensate. Our team still works 7.5-hour days, just one day fewer each week. When late nights or weekends happen, the extra day off makes all the difference.
Here’s what else we’ve noticed so far:
âś… Sharper focus. With less time in the week, our team prioritizes higher-impact work and collaborates more efficiently. Everyone is working smarter.
âś… Stronger energy and creativity. The team feels more refreshed and engaged throughout the week.
âś… A competitive edge for talent. Offering a four-day week is helping us attract and retain exceptional people in PR.
Results from global four-day work week pilots have also shown:
• 92% of companies kept the model after testing it
• Revenue remains stable and often increases
• Employee burnout dropped by more than 70% While the model is gaining traction in tech and other industries, it’s still rare in PR.
That’s exactly why we decided to take the leap. We have always seen ourselves as leaders in the industry, and this is just one more step towards innovation.

Happy International Women’s Day! 🖤
Today, and every day, we celebrate the incredible women who inspire us.
From our women-led team to the amazing women we get to work with, we’re proud to collaborate with so many multifaceted, passionate women making an impact in everything they do.
We’re truly honoured to welcome the David Foster Foundation to the MILK roster.
For 40 years, they’ve provided vital support to children in need of life-saving organ transplants, from the moment they’re listed for surgery through post-operative care. Through fundraising events and community partnerships, the Foundation raises the critical funds that make this possible.
We’re proud to be chosen to support their media presence, social media channels, and upcoming events, and we can’t wait to amplify their incredible mission and share their inspiring work.
Stay tuned!
Eat-Along with Buddy the Elf 🍬🌠❄️ 🍝 đźŤ
This past December, MILK brought some holiday magic to The Rec Room on Granville with a fully immersive Elf-inspired dining experience.
Guests watched the holiday classic Elf while enjoying a four-course menu inspired by Buddy the Elf’s most iconic moments, from sipping the “World’s Best Cup of Coffee” espresso martini to enjoying candy-covered spaghetti, powdered sugar mini donuts, and classic NYC hot dogs.
The result? 8 million impressions, sold out events, and a holiday experience guests won’t forget!
Thank you to everyone who attended and shared the love, we couldn’t have done it without you. 💛
