Some big news… ☁️
I’m incredibly honored (and still a little in disbelief) to share that Milk Cloud Bakery will soon have a storefront. Even more special — I’ll be continuing this journey in the space that has been home to @lanoisettesweets
I first met Alain when we were working in the same kitchen building. Over time he became a mentor to me, always offering thoughtful feedback, advice, and encouragement. Thank you, Alain, for your generosity and guidance. It truly means so much to be trusted with continuing the spirit of your space.
Milk Cloud Bakery started with a lot of curiosity, patience, and trial and error. I’m a self-taught baker with a background in graphic design and athletics — not the most traditional path into baking. After many long nights experimenting with dough and learning to respect the proofing process, I finally created the shokupan I had been chasing.
From there, Milk Cloud Bakery began with shokupan and sandos, inspired by the bold flavors I personally craved and wanted to share with you all. Later, I expanded into Basque cheesecake because I fell in love with its light, creamy texture — something that felt like a perfect match for Milk Cloud Bakery.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far. Your encouragement means everything.
This next chapter feels surreal, and I can’t wait to welcome you into the new space soon ☁️
