not too sure what Gred’s deal is- i had some plans for when i was still gonna do HIVE 2 that he is some ancient chaos demon of some kind-
it’s funnier if he’s just Gred.
there’s something funny to me about in my world there’s a chance any day you may run into Gred and he will piss you off, that he’s infamous, a scoundrel an ugly little gremlin, peeing, thieving, rhyming, and trying to kill himself
yesterday i was procrastinating inking so for a few hours i colored this old comic and had a fun time doing it so here it is ill show u it over the next couple days

they’re renovating my beloved old sfai as they transform it into its new institution and they’re getting rid of this mural i got to do in the AV room when i was there back in 2019- they made sure i knew, honestly stand up move letting me know they were getting rid of it at all. anyway, goodbye!

end of chapter one- this one is the shortest of the 3 chapter Taft in Hell arc at 6 pages, then Alfie and Death is 10 pages (acrylic painted backgrounds for that one) and the dramatic climax called Taft and Alfie and Death is 30 pages and that one i inked analog-
would prefer to debut those 2 chapters in printed form but every publishing house i submitted T&A to gave me a hard pass hahahaha so maybe some day we crowdfund that
Alfie discovers a secret room where Vice President James Sherman is using the Necronomicon to raise The Five Greatest Presidents for ritual sacrifice so that he may ascend to Gigapresident typing that all out felt legit embarrassing
lesson learned. next year i gotta simplify. the idea of hourlies is to do a quick 1-day autobio comic of a day in your life. last couple years i kinda started making it a bigger thing and doing an extended project with it but yeah it was just taking way too much time. so next year ill still do it but im gonna do 1-2 panel per hour like most cartoonists do.
anyway after 3 pm i drove to oakland and did a 4-5 hour practice w several musicians as we practiced valentines love song covers.
then i swung by zoey and atreus’s house to pick up a nintendo switch i bought from zoey.
then i got taco bell
