The final Carlton Park Concert of the year is here!
Not only is this the last concert of the season, but it’s also a special fundraiser for the Perth Elementary Arts Program. Sadly, due to budget cuts under Doug Ford, our entire school’s arts program (for all grades K-6) has been allotted only $500 this year — which feels insane.
We all know how much the arts helps students excel in all subjects, supports their mental health and well-being, and serves as a powerful way to connect them with one another.
With this fundraiser, we’re aiming to raise funds to buy art and music equipment and give our teachers the resources they need to actually teach in a meaningful way.
Our fundraising priorities include:
1. Individual piano keyboards for students
2. Percussion instruments
3. Renovating the gym’s performance stage
4. Funding live performance acts
