We’re extremely excited to announce our open call for TERRA 2026, the fourth edition of our monumental site-responsive exhibition in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage vineyards. Responding to the idea of ‘terroir’, the concept of sense of place, we invite artists of all disciplines to think in particular this year about ecology, ritual and mapping. All selected works will be exhibited across multiple spaces in Burgundy, France. @vinhiphop started out as a post-harvest party in Burgundy in 2022, a harvest everyone wanted to celebrate. A bicultural project created by a few French and American friends. It was always about building bridges, opening doors and celebrating community, with wine and hip hop as shared languages and perfect companions for the party. @realwolfofwine was already convinced of the parallels between his two passions. As we continue on this adventure, now 4 years in, the connection and the "why" of @vinhiphop deepens with each event, new encounter, and with each collaborator who joins us. In Los Angeles, we gathered with small groups of winemaker friends and music industry legends. We listened to music in a way we never had before: as wine tastings for hip hop - the producers and tastemakers explained their philosophies, techniques and history, the way we are used to winemakers doing at a tasting. Some songs touched us deeply, unlocking something different in each of us. @babyloveswine and @icy_liu_ drew the parallel with vins d’emotion. Layered, full of references and energy, expressing a place and time, like the wines in our glasses. 

The threads, purpose and meaning within @vinhiphop continue to reveal themselves and we are so happy to be on the adventure with you… Love, VHH
