I was super uninspired the entire spring and summer (when it comes to drawing). Now I’ve been doing shit tons of stuff but don’t know where to put it. Personal account feels too polished(in a bad way; there’s no room for exploration) and impersonal but this one is so empty. Social media is stressful. I want to put my stuff out there but I don’t want to spam everything at once (but I feel inspired to post very rarely so would like to do all at once) I want to be anonymous so I can post more freely but I also want to take credit for my work because of my-huge-ego™. Once upon a time I ate cereals the entire day and my pee smelled like Cheerios. I could lie and say this happened when I was a kid but it did not. We rarely had cereal as kids so I’m compensating as an adult.
Current mental state is not ideal but rather than blaming it on the lack of social contacts, it’s the university work that’s driving me mad. Thankfully my flatmate takes me out on walks (I am at the point in which I need to be taken outside like a pet or I’ll start growing roots in this bed/my office) and there are only four more days until the thesis deadline. 🐲

A beautiful diary doodle from a couple of weeks past. Didn’t work, the routine fell through and the numbness felt as bad as all the anxiety & stress related emotions I felt before (tbh i didn’t reach such level of numbness, that sounds like nirvana). I’m very dramatic about writing my thesis and the struggle that goes into it (or the struggle that goes into the getting started -part)
Deep thoughts from the depths of my university notebook. Fun little thought experiment, how would a world in which we had baguettes for arms be? Would we just eat them in childhood? Would it be like a lifelong marshmallow test? All I know is I’d be even slower when it comes to writing my thesis and handstands wouldn’t be an option. But neither would many forms of violence.

The past week I tried studying in different places because I am having a lot of trouble starting my thesis and thought that maybe a change of scenery would loosen me up a bit.
