Some of my best friends gathered around my table at the end of the year, and instead of rushing to fill boards with what we want next, we started with what we’re leaving behind. The patterns that no longer serve us. The pressure we’ve been carrying that was never ours to hold. The versions of ourselves we’ve outgrown. And then, only then, did we dream forward. There’s something sacred about women creating space for each other like this. No performance. No perfection. Just honest reflection and the kind of laughter that comes from being truly seen. It tested me, stretched me, broke me open, damn near killed me and somehow… rebuilt me stronger. I went through my camera roll and realized this year held so much more than I remembered. Not everything can fit in 20 slides, but these are the moments that shaped me. The hospital beds and the stages. The losses and the comebacks. The days I couldn’t speak and the nights I couldn’t stop celebrating. This year taught me that your lowest moment can happen in the same season as your greatest blessing. That you can lose people and find yourself. That God’s timing is perfect, even when it feels late. Before you step into 2026: reflect on YOUR year. Don’t just highlight the wins. I was a full on patient in the hospital and then @_epiphanylove said hold my beer! So I walked to watch my niece be born. 8. Spent most of the year and my birthday in the hospital! BUT my peopleeeee showed up of me! 😭 Friends who showed up (many not pictured). Days I couldn’t fight for myself. They fought for me. 9. Tried to heal my body but couldn’t because I had blood clots all over my legs and lungs. God kept me Yal! 10. My family. Through every high and low, they were my constant. My joy. My peace. 11. - 18. Releasing what wasn’t mine. Lost friends, opportunities, relationships. Sabotaged myself. Failure is part of my story. Launched my supper club series. Thanksgiving magic. Communion through food and connection with my girls! 19. December 9th. Joined @petalprod Found my family. Ready for everything 2026 holds.

Some images deserve a permanent feed post and these by @themonochromaticexperience definitely do. 🔥 My first industry event in forever and of course it had to be @petalprod ’s grand opening because apparently I only emerge from hibernation for the really good stuff. Saw so many incredible people and industry peers that I genuinely admire, plus a bunch of faces I haven’t seen since approximately 2015 (which is insane). The food was ridiculous @hc.collective , the vibes were immaculate @curate_entertainment , the installations… the freaking installations…!! I can’t get over how immersive it was! I remembered why I actually love this chaos we call an industry. Sometimes you forget how much you’ve missed something until you’re back in it. It all started when thrifty, thirsty Bahamians consumed the clear botanical spirit, more plentiful and cheaper at the time than rum. Sky Juice quickly became a favorite drink amongst locals. Now, you may be wondering why it’s called ‘Sky Juice’ - well, the name is derived from the drink’s main ingredients: coconut water and gin. The clear and pristine coconut water symbolizes the clear blue skies of our beautiful paradise, while the gin represents the spirits soaring high in the sky. Whether you prefer it ‘leaded’ with a dash of gin or ‘unleaded’ for a non-alcoholic version, Sky Juice is a must-have for any celebration! Today, on our 50th independence, let’s savor this delightful concoction while embracing our rich heritage and commemorating the progress of our beloved nation. Raise your glasses, and toast to the Bahamian spirit of unity, freedom, and endless blue horizons! Give it a try! BATCH [ LEADED ] Makes 8-10 servings 32 ounces London dry gin [ remove gin for unleaded ] 40 ounces fresh young coconut water 14 ounces condensed milk [ 1 can ] 1/3 nutmeg pod, freshly grated Garnish: nutmeg and cherry Add gin, coconut water and condensed milk into a pitcher and stir well. 
Grate fresh nutmeg pod over the top and stir again. 

Pour into your favorite glass over ice. 

Garnish each glass with freshly grated nutmeg. For this video I used the batch above without the gin and added 3 ounces of gin to each glass but if you just need a little individual size something to hold on to, use the recipe 3 oz gin, 4 oz coconut water and 3 oz condensed milk. DOUBLE SMOKED PIN DROP RUM OLD FASHIONED Get ready to be blown away by the incredible story of Pin Drop Rum, crafted by a collective of creators and rum lovers on the picturesque Harbour Island in the Bahamas. Pin Drop Rum is a true gem, boasting a smooth and easy-drinking character that will leave you wanting more. The delicate taste of vanilla and the warm embrace of nutmeg will transport your senses straight to the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. It’s like a vacation in a glass! The extra flavor from the cocktail smoker and rosemary makes this smokey old fashioned super indulgent. Give it a try! 2 ounce @pindroprum [ Purchase at @johnwatlingsofficial ] ½ ounce rosemary syrup 3 dashes of orange bitters Orange twist Ice Using a cocktail smoker from @markandgraham , add a small pellet to the smoker stand, light until pellet is burning steadily, blow out and place carafe on the stand. Allow smoke to fill the carafe for about a minute and top with stopper to trap smoke. In a mixing glass combine all ingredients and pour into carafe to infuse. Pour over your rosemary smoked glass filled with @mixologyice . Stir the mixture until it is slightly diluted. Garnish with an orange twist.
