PSL season 1 is in the books! I want to thank the skaters for trusting us with an entirely new concept and being so easy to work with. Thinking about the phone calls I would get from the pros after week 1 telling me how they actually had fun being in it and stoked to skate in the upcoming weeks, to me that means absolutely everything. If theyāre happy and they have fun, thatās all that matters.
We have leaned into a lot of sports references, which obviously goes against a lot of the ārulesā of skateboardingā¦ but when you break down what weāre really doing and get past that thought, itās a game of skate with your friends, against other friends. Thatās what PSL is.
I want to thank our staff that has worked on everything behind the scenes, this doesnāt happen without countless hours of work and dedication by @vincestagram , @curbkiller , @charleycamirand , Tom Carter, Matt Shail - broadcast team, events team, and Red Bull.
And I want to thank everyone that watched and gave feedback throughout the entire season. We are learning as we go, we will adapt as fast as we can, if something doesnāt make sense we will fix it and keep improving. Any feedback or thoughts are always welcome. And more Memes the better.
This has been the most challenging thing Iāve ever worked on, and Iāve loved every second of it. Iām proud of what weāve built, and even more excited about whatās next. Feel free to share any thoughts or ideas anytime, weāre always listeningā¦ back to work for me.
