After 2 months on Quadra Island we are underway once again heading south along the east side of the Strait of Georgia. Although cloudy, winds were light and we were the only non commercial vessel for 50 miles in all directions. Put a smile on your face. 😊

Landed in Campbell River. Took a side trip to Desolation Sound and now settling into Quadra Island for an extended stay. It’s nice to slowdown the travel pace for a while.

Fury Cove was our exit from the Pacific Northwest. From there we passed Cape Caution and entered the Broughtons at the north end of Vancouver Island. We rarely saw another boat and yet fog followed us pretty well everywhere we went.

Landed in Waddington Bay yesterday with fog laced beauty and a visit with the crew of MV Pacific. On the way in we were passed by a pair of fast moving orcas. Great couple of days. .

As we headed south of Prince Rupert, we went on what is called the outside of the inside passage. It is a less travelled route and 10 days we only saw 2 other boats. A big part of our journey involves finding places for Henry to goashore for business and exercise. This post shows a bit of how we make this work. Southward. .
