COPE Race Cars and its COPE Chassis made its official debut as an approved chassis builder to the Trans Am presented by Pirelli CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series in 2012; however, did you know that Mike Cope Racing had a COPE Chassis at the first ever Trans Am TA2 race at Road Atlanta in 2010?
Since then, the popularity of the chassis has consistently grown from a hand full of cars in the field to where we are today.
COPE Race Cars opens the TA2 season at Sebring with 17 cars in the 33-car field. Making 2026 the third year in a row that COPE has led the way for chassis count at Sebring.
