To say I don’t have all the words to express how much I enjoyed working on this episode is an understatement but I’m gonna try… The warm welcome from the entire cast and crew gave me such a joy that it hasn’t worn off yet. It’s a Master Class on how to treat and be treated in this industry (or any other). Firstly, thank you @emeraldartistsagency (Jaqueline and Sophia) #RorySchleifstein and #CarolKritzer for allowing me this honor. Thank you @nathanfillion and @jennadewan for being so fun to work with and welcoming me to the show with open arms. Brilliant director #BillRoe who is the only one I didn’t get to thank in person at the end of the day but hearing his laugh from the other room to something I did encouraged me so much. I didn’t want to leave at the end of every day and I hope I never lose that feeling for my entire career. At the end of the work day when the wonderful @teenyweenymartini told me to go home, I said “No. Because in a few days you’re gonna tell me not to come back”. The amazing @maycup_ for all the wonderful conversations in the makeup chair, @chad_d_bennett for walking me through the stunts... patient and kind, thank you! There’s a special guest I don’t want to mention because I don’t know if I’m allowed but let’s just say my joy meter shot up even more when I saw her - I’ll post more later but didn’t want to ruin the surprise here :) I’m sure I’m forgetting something or someone - hope not - please watch @therookieabc tonight. I had SO much fun.

I had to update the Creep Reel. I get to play some of the most fun weirdos 🎭 Very, very grateful to work with some of my favorite people and biggest encouragers.

Very grateful to have been a part of this season of #ThePitt - I want to give a very specific shoutout to the crew. From the hair & makeup department to art, props, grips, camera, the AD’s and PA’s, both wonderful directors that I got to work with… everyone behind the camera was so wonderful and kind. That’s what makes a difference on the day for me.

I’ve been getting some really fun messages about this episode of @therookieabc so it made me think… I wonder who Josh Cherry is pretending to be these days 😏 my guess is STILL John Nolan. Such a fun time and one of my fondest memories. So grateful to get to work with so many kind and wonderful people on this show.

Once again, I got to be a part of my favorite TV series and I’m forever grateful to casting professionals like @sethcaskey for believing in me for so long. And so many thanks to my wonderful manager @erika.ea.mgmt @establishedartists It’s great to have so many that have my back in such a fickle industry. I also wanted to write about a challenge I had on set because I think it’s important for actors and any other creatives out there! The reason I think it’s important is because you can do everything right, be prepared and GREAT at your job but sometimes circumstances - out of your control - can creep in. Great athletes have that ability to immediately let go of the last fumble or bobbled play - because the game isn’t gonna wait for you to be ready. Neither is production (for the most part) haha. Anyway, rehearsal takes went great and then there was some interference I dealt with (doesn’t matter what that interference was for the sake of this point - but I stumbled on some words in the scene - which IS totally normal - but with hundreds of people watching you, it can feel overwhelming in the moment). The whole reason I want to share this part is because what we do is a team sport - at least it should be. And if you see a fellow team member having any kind of struggle, go lift them up. Put your arm around them and say ‘how can I help?’ or simply encourage them with a head nod “you got this”. And that’s exactly what @zhomerbrand did. As we were resetting for another take he encouraged me and ran the scene with me as we walked back. “You got this” Fist bump and away we go. It’s a challenging career but even more challenging if you don’t have encouragers with you. Also a shoutout to the absolutely incredible @powertitia for encouraging me as well. What a great opportunity to work through a challenge with two outstanding actors. We will always face challenges, it’s important to be there for whoever is facing it. Some people won’t, but it’s very important not to focus on those people. As Mr. Rogers said “Look for the helpers” - Focus and be grateful for the ones who do. So grateful to have been a part of this show.

I could probably write a book about how much this job meant to me - and it’s not about the job itself to be honest. I’ll start my ‘thank yous’ at the beginning because I would never had the opportunity had @sethcaskey not called me in for so many roles over the years and trusted my work. Actors - if you read this - the RIGHT role will land when it’s the right one. Keep doing the work, present what YOU do - getting the job is out of your control. And to the entire casting team Cathy, Erica, Emma.. thank you! To my wonderful manager @Erika.ea.mgmt @establishedartists for believing in me. And now to #ThePitt my first greeting on set was from the 2nd 2nd Becca - and to be welcomed by someone with so much joy on that first day, it set the tone right there and it made me feel like I was truly welcomed with open arms. I’ve had facial hair for 99% of my jobs so when I had to shave, I was sure to miss a few spots haha the absolutely wonderful @merrytraum made sure I looked nice and pretty for my debut, haha. I don’t think there was even a split second that Director #DamianMarcano didn’t have a smile on his face the whole day and his encouragement and compliments made me feel right at home. A major highlight were moments outside of action and cut where I had wonderful conversations with some of the cast - including @mlcabot who was such a joy to be around and I will truly treasure that conversation the rest of my life. If I could tag the entire crew, I would. EVERY single crew member was an absolute joy to meet and work with. And as for the work itself.. it’s unlike anything I’ve ever worked on before and I’m grateful to have been a part of it. I will have more to say when my next episode airs because I have a lot to be grateful for on that one and some amazing (and difficult) learning experiences happened. If I’ve missed anyone, it’s not on purpose. I’m just so grateful to have been a part of getting to tell a small portion of the wonderful world this team has created. Thank you @johnwellsproductions @therealnoahwyle @hbomax and everyone else who allowed me to come play. 🎭
