This was the first day I ever tried using more than one flash. Speedy was in LA visiting family during the week of Christmas so I convinced him to be my test subject with one simple, “Cherry?”

I wanted to get a 180 bar photo but after Speedy did it 40 times (easily) nothing I had I was too stoked on. Being well warmed up at that point the hydrant session continued, following every other trick he could do over it while having a blast. We both locked in and got the perfect shot.

Justin has such a wide variety of tricks that he can do on any setup. I usually have to remind him of all the cool shit he can do. When we talked about shooting a photo at willi he said, “any trick besides a tailwhip.” He’s always had some insane looking no-foot cans that are tweaked to the fullest, while holding them there long enough to defy physics. With that, he made my job easy for me, especially by doing it enough times for me to get the perfect angle.
