Pink and teal with a mix of emotions. @themanyfacesofkarina The studio has been so busy I need to find time to posts more shoots. But this is my final paint shoot until I decide to buy more. The teal back drop came in the day before this shoot and I planned to use if for something else. But when I was testing the pink against the other back drops, the teal became the only option in my mind. While I would like to think I am a good director, all the credit goes to Karina for all the emotions seen in this set. Interested in doing a shoot? Lets talk through it. Send me a message! @canonusa R6MII Canon 24-70 F2.8 L Lens Canon 70-200 F2.8 L Lens Savage Teal 9ft back drop @aputure.lighting 300D lights #pink #modelphotography #mikemakes

@aidan.redmann CK Shoot 2026 I don't really know what to say. These photos turned out pretty damn good. Aiden joined for a different shoot (soon to be posted), because I always say, bring a friend if it helps make you comfortable. But he also had an interest in doing a shoot, so we scheduled a shoot, and this is that shoot. Men seem to be trickier to get in front of the camera but I work with everyone, and in many styles, so if you have ever wanted to get in front of the camera, but maybe too shy/nervous, let's walk through that. Setup Info: Canon R6MII Canon 24-70 F2.8 Lens Canon 70-200 F 2.8 Lens Aputure 300D Lights - 1 with softbox dome, 1 with reflector Savage white paper back drop And an old stool #studioshoot #modelphotography #mikemakes

Warmer days ahead @lomography Lomochrome Color 92 Mamiya C330 This film went through a CT scanner last year because it flagged at the airport. I didn't even get to use it for the trip, but decided to use it afterwards. If you lower the brightness, you can see a waveiness on the film, but it's not super noticeable when viewed like this. I'm not a beach person, but I saw people at the beach yesterday, and want to go. #heylomography

Closing time @cinestillfilm 800T 120 Film Mamiya C330 The @silver_diner is probably one of the best-lit places in National Harbor. I walked all around, and these lights really pop compared to everything else. 800T film and the slightly foggy night really help as well. #mikemakes

The Walrus @cinestillfilm 800T 120 Film Mamiya C330 The haze during the night helped with this shot, but not as much as what I captured at the Silver Diner. I walked past this place multiple times, trying to decide when would be the best time to take a photo. Nighttime in National Harbor has an eerie feeling as the town only really exists for conventions. So at night, everyone clears out, and the streets are empty. I have now been here for lunch and dinner, and both were superb. Get yourself a B.C. Old Fashioned for the cotton candy spectacle. #iamthewalrus #mikemakes

Late night at the Silver Diner @cinestillfilm 800T 120 Film Mamiya C330 I think I need to print this one. The whole night had a haze, and this shot really captured it. Also, go to a @silver_diner , sit at the bar, order the Bison Huevos Rancharos, and substitute the tortillas with naan because the sever suggested it. It was a good choice. 9/10 because he forgot my coffee, but in his defense, he really wanted me to have the naan bread.

A little Funke 1949 Graflex Crown Graphic @filmphotographyproject Mummy 400 BW 4x5 Sheet Film I always look at this building when leaving Riverside Park. It's a La Crosse icon. The rooftop is a nice vantage point for tilt-shift videos as well. #mikemakes
