The Train Station Theory:
Most people realize this lesson too late in life. Not everyone you meet meant to stay.
Life is like a train station:
People arrive
People leave
Some remain for years
Some remain for only minutes
The mistake many people make:
They believe everyone is supposed to stay.
They are not.
Some people are lessons.
Some people are stops.
Only few become destinations.
People rearely leave with dramatic explanations.
Just like trains...
They simply depart when the time comes.
People leave because:
Your paths changed.
Your growth moved in different directions.
Their role in your life reached its end.
It feels personal.
But most of the time it isn't.
It is timing.
Not your value.
The real pain is not that they left.
The pain is the future you imagined with them.
You planned journeys they never promised.
You created stops they never agreed to visit.
The train station theory teaches this.
Enjoy the company.
But never tie your identity to passengers.
Trying to make people stay never works.
You cannot stop train by standing in front of it.
You only end up hurting yourself.
When someone leaves, do not close the station.
Another train is already on the way.
Every departure sharpens your awareness.
