Migrationās epic live room: A rare gargantuan 5.5m cathedral ceiling flanked by Cotswolds stone walls. As you might imagine itās ambience is beautiful, but combined with close micing techniques it can be extremely intimate too. Weāre looking for emerging South Asian musicians and producers with boundary pushing ideas for a 10 day residency at Migration Studios (@migrationstudios ), funded by PRS Foundation and Arts Council England.
The fully funded programme will invite three different artists to work on their live music or production skills, offering dedicated mentorship and support. One of the three artists will have the chance to perform at an international showcase, while the other two will feature at a future Dialled In event š
The residency takes place between 4th and 13th August 2026.

@joycrookes ā sophomore album Juniper dropped on Friday, and itās a true triumph. Joy wrote 8 out of the 12 tracks during a month of sessions @migrationstudios . The album is a masterclass in honest songwriting, with intoxicating lyrics, soul-stirring melodies, and raw, human production choices.
The video on the first slide shows Joy giving us an early listen of āMathematicsā at Migration during an earlier phase of album production. What stands out is how much this music means to herāitās her lifeblood that she shares with the world.
This album is incredibly special, and we highly recommend listening from start to finish for the full experience. For us, personallyāhaving just started at Migration when Joy first walked through our doorsāitās an honour to see a record with this much sentience out in the world. Itās exactly why we built Migration, and we couldnāt be prouder to be small part of Joyās masterful second album.
