On Saturday, May 16th, @alphaalphaomicronomega@phipiques & @eastdallasques hosted an impactful evening of open discussion focused on empowering families and strengthening communities through healing hearts. 💜
We extend a special thank you to our incredible panelists:
Rosalyn Rayford, Eddie Pratt, and Dr. Curtis Hill for sharing their wisdom, insight, and experiences with everyone in attendance.
Also thanks to @epiphanyartgallery in Garland for having us!
The conversations were powerful, the advice was meaningful, and the atmosphere was uplifting. If you missed it, you truly missed a great evening of growth and connection.
But don’t worry… this was only Part 1. 👀
Part 2 of the series is already in the works, so stay tuned!
On May 16, 2026, we observe Armed Forces Day, a day dedicated to honoring the men and women who are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.
While much of our recognition often focuses on past service, today we turn our attention to those who are standing watch right now—at home and around the world—maintaining readiness, protecting our nation, and preserving the freedoms we enjoy.
Men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.—including Brothers from the Mighty Ninth District—continue to serve in every branch of the military, carrying forward a legacy that began in 1911. Whether serving on active duty, in the Reserve, or in the National Guard, these Brothers represent discipline, leadership, and commitment in uniform every day.
Their service may not always be visible, but it is constant. Their mission may not always be known, but it is essential.
🎖️ If you are a Brother currently serving, we invite you to share your name, rank, branch, and duty station (if appropriate) in the comments.
Today, we recognize you—not for what you have done, but for what you continue to do.
