Take part in this FREE creative Artivism Workshop with Mieke Jay Visuals to learn to project visuals that can captivate, mobilize, transform, and inspire new levels of awareness, connection, and engagement. Mieke Jay is a multi media artist of european decent born and raised on the west coast of turtle island and currently living in “Roberts Creek” on the traditional territory of the Skwxwú7mesh and shíshálh Nations. Mieke is known for her colourful immersive installations; blending imagery of the natural world with dynamic patterns and effects. When people immerse themselves in art within community it is transformative and creates connection that enriches our lives. This workshop is presented by Friend of Clayoquot Sound. The DJs got the people dancing and brought so much joy to the crowds with @noradawntribe , @_loblova_ @azenyalifestyle , @blissprema , @flylyssa Huge ups to @thewilder.experience for producing the Victoria at Dusk festival and @cityofvictoria for supporting this weekend. Especially grateful to the thousands of people who came thru ✨✨✨

wow Victoria at Dusk you were a party! So much incredible art. really grateful to get to participate. This video is of a projection instal that myself and @haus.of.owl ’s projection club put together. It’s always a thrill to show more artists tricks to working with projectors and this team went far creating a custom mapped instal on the side of the iconic @havn.saunas . Huge congratulations to @thewilder.experience for producing @experiencedusk and thank you to the @cityofvictoria for supporting amazing arts events like this one. I’m happy to introduce you to the artists who will be playing with light and sound alongside me at Victoria at dusk @experiencedusk Come see us at the Elemental Spirit installation at Ship Point from 5-9pm on February Friday the 13th, Valentine’s Day and Sunday, February 15th ✨🎶💕🎶✨ 🎶 Löblová invites you on an immersive musical journey, seamlessly drawing you into the dance. With a dedication to exploring new sounds, she curates a unique experience. Her inspiration spans a multitude of genres, including downtempo, afro/deep/organic/melodic house, techno, trance, deep & dub techno, as well as a newfound passion for breakbeat and drum & bass. Come see her share her sound on February 14th from 6-8pm🎶 🎶 Lyssa’s style could be described as smooth, organic, & soulful. In 2005 she fell in love with House music, and over the last 20 years has branched out into a wide array of genres and tempos, from lo-fi to techno & dub, and everything in between. Lyssa made Victoria, BC her home in 2007, and held a residency at Hush Nightclub for nearly 5 years until its close. In 2015 Lyssa dipped her toes into the production side of electronic music, and has had her vocals featured on several tracks, as well as her own edit cut. Come see her broadcast her sound on February 15th from 7:30-9pm 🎶 🎶 Azenya is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges sound, movement, and visual expression. An ecstatic dance facilitator, DJ, jewelry designer, and photographer, she is the founder of MOVE, an ecstatic dance series where she curates intentional, conscious dance spaces. As one of Vancouver’s early female visual artists in the underground house music scene, Azenya helped pioneer immersive visual environments alongside some of the world’s leading DJs.
