This is peak Thursday nights. 60+ kids, parents, coaches, mountain bikes, wonderful trails, and beautiful weather. Huge thank you to the Indy Trail Collective for having Town Run dialed. If you’re not already a member of theirs, consider their minimal membership fee a token of gratitude for maintaining more than 40 miles of single track in the greater Indianapolis area for us all to enjoy.

Join us tomorrow (5/13) at @halfliter_bbq for a day of great food, community, and support for Midwest Devo! Come gather with fellow cyclists, families, and friends to enjoy lunch or dinner while giving back in a meaningful way. 15% of all pre-tax dine in sales will be donated directly to Midwest Devo, helping us continue to support and grow opportunities for kids on bikes. To participate, mention you are dining in support of Midwest Devo. Bring your teammates (ahem, post Wednesday Night Hinkle Worlds), invite your friends, and make a plan to stop by. Every meal makes a difference, and we’d love to see you there! Please note: this offer is dine-in only. Alcohol, online orders, and gift cards are excluded.

The 2026 season is officially underway. 105 juniors from 8-18. 30% female, 40 teenagers, and 70% returning rate from last year. Really excited to see our strongest group yet develop skills, character, and relations through riding bikes. #MoreKidsOnBikes

What do you do with 105 kids ages 8-18 on mountain bikes every week? A lot! Which is why we do our best to Coach the Coaches. We’re thrilled to have Coach Will helping our coaches learn how to create fun, scalable skill stations to ensure our programming is fun and helpful. It’s going to be a great season.

As the Devo kids get older, the more they’re invited to solve their own bike problems. Getting comfortable changing tires is a pre-requisite for independent riding. #flattimesatridgemonthigh

TLDR: Madame President - out! The last 4 years I have had great honor to lead @midwestdevocycling through some awesome moments and memories. Thank you to the team, community, friends, and family for trusting me, supporting me, and believing in me to serve in this role. Midwest Devo has my whole heart, and that’s not changing. 💕 This experience has created many core memories, friends, and incredible meaning in my life. Yes, the team grew to a record number of riders. Yes, we’ve celebrated podiums & national titles. Yes, 30% of our team is female (!!!!) We’ve built something strong and sustainable. But what matters most to me isn’t the numbers. It’s the kids I’ve watched work hard, have fun, and surprise themselves. It’s the friendships that started in parking lots and the families who found their people here. Midwest Devo has always been about a community that shows up for kids on bikes, again and again….and again. Thank you. I am excited to keep growing the MWD girls programming, supporting women in cycling, and maybe even riding my own bike a little more. MWD is headed towards another great season led by Andrew Hoffman. I can’t wait to see how he continues to steer our Grello ship. To the next chapter, enjoy some photos from the last 4 years💕

Hello Midwest Devo supporters! We would like to share a leadership update at Midwest Devo. Following two successful terms as Board President, Marissa is transitioning to an at-large role, and Andrew Hoffman will be stepping in as Board President. Marissa will remain active and engaged as a coach, community builder, and your kid’s biggest fan, and we, as a board, are committed to ensuring that our programming, events, and structure remain consistent. Marissa has led Midwest Devo through tremendous growth and impact. In 2026, we will welcome 103 kids, our largest group ever, with 30% being young women, a commitment Marissa has worked hard to achieve. She has championed our mission to get more kids on bikes and helped build the welcoming, accessible, and thriving community for our riders, parents, and support crew members we are proud of today. Midwest Devo is stronger because of her leadership and commitment. Our riders have benefited, and we are better because she said yes to serving. Please join us in thanking Marissa for four years of steady leadership. We are excited for the season ahead and confident in the strength of this community. Midwest Devo Board Ps…Marissa will share what Devo has meant to her and what she’s looking forward to in the future through a personal post in the coming days. Stay tuned!

Midwest Devo is about the kids, their confidence, their friendships, and the joy of riding bikes together. They learn resilience, teamwork, and independence while building friendships that go far beyond race day. And while they’re growing on and off the bike, families get to be part of a truly community, too. 2026 Registration is open. Join/submit kit order by EOD 2/15 to get your kid before the season starts. Links in bio.
