@itsgarrettpog , @lowerleagueusa & @soccerzombiestl will carefully decide Power Rankings amongst the entire league twice per month, in addition to voting on Club-nominated Player of the Month Awards in each conference, each month throughout the season.

The Midwest Premier League enters 2026 with 53 clubs, continuing to break the record we set each season.
With 19 Expansion clubs, including a bounty of clubs in Chicagoland and a new region in the Gateway Conference, here’s a look at the new alignment in the MWPL.
With the growing number of teams in Chicagoland, the bottom two clubs in Division 1 will be relegated, with the top club in each group of Division 2 being promoted at season’s end.

The season gets booming with a couple clean sheets from clubs looking to make a strong impression, including @firstcityfc1854 who’s started 2-0 in the early campaign.

Kansas City: UNLOCKED
In one of the first matches in the state of Kansas in 4 years, @afccolumbia traveled to Shawnee and upended the newly renamed @greatplainsfc . After falling 1-0, Columbia equalized and came back to win in the second half.
