鶴見朋世
素材・人・空間の相互作用を探究し、感覚的かつ思索を促す体験を生み出すテキスタイルアーティスト。環境が時間や歴史、人の存在によってどのように形づくられるのかを探りながら、つながりや共有された意識の生成を試みている。
織りを中心としたテキスタイル表現を通して、表層のその先にある不可視の層や揺らぎに目を向ける。繊維を言語の一つとして捉え、素材と文化、時間の重なりの中に生まれる見えない対話を可視化することで、知覚の広がりを促す表現を探究している。
素材・光・知覚が交差する「間」に着目し、織りが生み出す空気や環境を通して感覚を喚起し、鑑賞者が立ち止まり、日常の中のささやかな瞬間に意識を向けることを促す作品を制作している。
2018年に多摩美術大学生産デザイン学科テキスタイルデザイン専攻を卒業。2023年にRoyal College of Art（MA Textiles）を修了。
「noise in tranquility」では、表層の奥にある不可視の層や微細な揺らぎ、感覚的な気配、そして静けさのあり方を探ります。ここでの「音」は可聴なものを超え、素材や文化、現代社会のリズムの重なりによって生まれる知覚されにくい感覚を指します。その複雑さの中で、静けさは欠如ではなく、より深く見えない存在として立ち現れます。
鶴見は織りを中心としたテキスタイルを通して、こうした不可視の層を繊維によって可視化します。地中に広がる根の構造に着想を得て、生態的な関係性を織りと刺繍の重なりの中に織り込み、複数の時間が交差する場を生み出します。竹染めによるほのかな光を帯びた糸は、一筋ずつ重ねられ、静かに揺らぐ表層をかたちづくります。
織機は単なる道具ではなく、関係を生み出す装置として機能します。一本の糸は個として存在し、それらが交差することで時間・文化・場所の層が編み上げられていきます。本展は、鑑賞者に立ち止まり、知覚の微細な変化や、見えるものの背後に静かに存在するものへと意識を向けることを促します。
noise in tranquility explores unseen layers beneath the surface, the subtle fluctuations, sensory presences, and forms of silence. Here, “sound” extends beyond the audible, pointing to imperceptible sensations shaped by the intersections of material, culture, and the overlapping rhythms of contemporary life. Within this complexity, silence emerges not as absence, but as a deeper, invisible presence.
Working primarily with woven textiles, Tsurumi renders these unseen layers visible through fiber. Drawing from the underground structure of roots, her works embed ecological relationships into layered weavings and embroidery, where multiple temporalities intersect. Bamboo-dyed threads, carrying a faint luminosity, are woven one by one to form quiet, shifting surfaces.
The loom functions not simply as a tool, but as a device that generates relationships. Individual threads converge into layered expressions of time, culture, and place, inviting viewers to slow down and attune to subtle shifts in perception—and to what quietly exists beneath the visible.
