People ask me “why cars? Why not nature, people, animals?” Simple answer is well cause I like cars. But if I really answered, it’s because something about a machine as simple as a car (which is really a big metal box on four wheels) makes my heart beat in a different special way. The creativity that goes into building a car or even driving a car straight from the box is both aspirational and amazing. Because of cars, that normal people like me and you can experience 100 miles per hour or even more. Being able to be in control of one thing in your life is cars. While I also find the beauty in nature, people, and even animals, a car will sit there, wait, and move around whenever you tell it to move. It stays consistent. I find it ironic that as a photographer, me taking photos of cars is art itself, but the car in the photo is also art. People tend to forget, but these amazing automobiles aren’t just a way of transportation, it’s art, a way of life, and a privilege. To me, automotive photography is more than just clicking on the shutter button. Everytime I hear the camera click, it’s art in progress. Automotive photography is discovery, risk, freedom, adventure, therapy, friendship, memory, perspective, a moment in time, beauty, creative, life, and it’s everything.

From Canon to Sony! Disclaimer: by no means is this a diss to any Canon and T7 users! The T7 is one of the most beginner friendly cameras I have ever used. And Canon in general is a beginner friendly camera company! The T7 was good, but it had its limits. As I got more into night photography, the T7 sucked at low light photography. Everytime I tried to edit, there were too many grains. The Autofocus in the T7 also sucked. So when I changed to the Sony A7iii, it was a game changer. So much more settings to play around with, and the photos were a lot more crisp. Not to mention it’s mirrorless! So I welcome you to my chapter 2 of my photography journey! Stay tuned for more!

Ok so this reel is a lil inaccurate. I had a ls400 before the e36. But the times where both of those cars were down, walking or asking for rides was the only option. But there’s beauty in walking when your car is down. You slow down and see beauty of nature, the people talking, the cars driving by. In a way sometimes I’m thankful I get to walk
