Tomorrow Yvette and I are holding a reception for our visual exhibition intended to support and present the archival research we have completed all semester as part of our BLST 700. We decided to pursue this work to encapsulate the essence of being Black at Middlebury through a visual language spoken through the voices of those before us.

Today we have our final screening of our Blaxploitation film series. At 6:30pm we will gather in Axin 232 with pizza, popcorn, and refreshments to watch our final movie, Buck and the Preacher!

i, alongside my collaborator and dear friend, arsema, are producing an exhibition for our senior black studies project. this exhibition centers on the recovery and uplifting of black student voices through archival, visual, and literary means. we would love to include the images and videos of more current attendees and recent alumni! if you are interested please submit through the link in my bio and story.
