So I got the iPhone 17 pro max a while back “for filming purposes” and this is the first test run with it. I’ve genuinely not really dabbled in actual filming for a while now so I sorry I don’t have any big terms or notes to throw around for now other than here are the results🤩✨

I don’t even know how to write captions for here anymore but I’ll try…so here’s my first post of the year.
Iris - “Keep The competition in your sights” your only competition is you.

So Basically this character was the first ever Fortnite skin I owned and the main one i use so I’ve always used it to bring some of my past ideas to life whilst learning and experimenting with new things I’m tryna learn. But in this case I was on a painting date and I was lost on what to draw so I decided to draw iris but how I framed the scene was to capture the emotion from a certain scene in boruto where Sasuke fought with kinshiki and after the fight he stood with the wind blowing his hair whilst staring down at his opponents from afar. That scene was so sick so I drew and painted it and in my mind I was like I’m going to recreate this in a 3d animation but sadly due to so much work that wouldn’t happen until almost 10months later after I painted it and been working on it for the past 7months on and off. So I started the project had so many interactions of stuff here and there then I got to a point where I was like it would just feel bland having a wind blowing the hair scene. Then I watched thunderbolts in may and came across the sentry character and that was where the idea to make an extended version of my initial idea came to lore which ended up tying itself together perfectly because the void is the dark side of sentry he always has to fight, the part of him he has to be better than and in essence all Fortnite skins have a description to them and for the iris character it’s termed “keep the competition in your sights” but there’s always a saying that the only person you should be actively competing with is yourself. And with that I hope you understand the full concept even tho you didn’t ask😭🙏🏾

All The Stars, Spent 10days on this to use it as a showcase. There are ton of glitches due to a deadline cramp and probably gonna stop me from being satisfied with the end result but still E for Effort🙂↕️.

So I can’t really say this particular animated short has an actual story but I just followed my intuition and created something that accentuates this importance of sound design as it can take your pretty basic visuals and make them more alive and I was able to pull this off using @ocular.sounds vast library of sound effects meant for making your videos complete.
So this isn’t perfect and you might spot a couple of glitches here and there in the 3D scene and mainly cause I don’t have time to trouble and fix other than that enjoy!😃
