To conclude the last of my ‘Absolute’ series which I have been doing in black and white over the course of my time here, it was a good learning process which led to inner discoveries about doing what I do. Mostly I have been vectorizing my sketches into digital format making it a fun process allowing me to both enjoy sketching on a book and detailing it later on an iPad. Couldn’t be more grateful sharing my journey with you all 🤍🤍🤍
Note: I would like to dedicate this artwork to my late Grandmother (Dhon Kamana), who was a Maldivian healer, medicine practitioner (Dhivehi beys) and a midwife to over 200 children. Rest easy Maama 🤍

I’ve been really intrigued by these patterns. Inspired by the observations I’ve made mostly on oceanic organisms, such as the patterns of the Napoleon Wrasse and Brain Coral being the most notable. Steve Papell was able to recreate such patterns in 1960 by the invention of Ferromagnetic Fluid. Intended to move liquids in space, his invention has gone to impact electronics applications, medical sciences and many other industries. Hope you guys like my take on it.
