Las Aganes is a documentary that began a little over a year ago with the aim of telling the stories of Carnic craftswomen, among the few who still preserve the art of hand-sewing Scarpetz according to tradition.
After a long period of research in the area, we met, listened to, and shared memories, concerns, and above all, the strong desire not to let this art, passed down through generations, be lost.
From this came our project, with the intention of keeping alive the memory, passion, and warmth that Carnia and all its people carry with them!

Las Aganes è un documentario che nasce poco più di un anno fa per raccontare le testimonianze delle artigiane carniche, tra le poche che ancora oggi custodiscono l’arte di cucire a mano gli Scarpetz secondo la tradizione.
Dopo un lungo periodo di ricerca sul territorio, abbiamo conosciuto, ascoltato e condiviso insieme ricordi, preoccupazioni e soprattutto tanta voglia di non far andare perduta quest’arte tramandata da generazioni.
Da questo nasce il nostro progetto, con l’intento di far rimanere viva la memoria, la passione e il calore che la Carnia e tutte le sue persone portano con sé!
