A light drifts across the sky.
In its only night on Earth, a luminous body leaves fleeting trails. In its silent flight, it encounters a machine, loud and solemn, that devours the night.
A witness on the ground captures this suspended dance: holding it for a moment, like a fragile dream upon waking, breathing in its light.
NOTTURNO is the new video work by Oliviero Fiorenzi and directed by filmmaker @hlessio , born from the artist’s first exploration of night flight.
The project comes to life in collaboration with @goofystudio , @gigadesignstudio and @ntmajocchi .

The project is supported by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture under the Italian Council program (2022), for the promotion of italian contemporary art worldwide.
Ritratto di città by MASBEDO takes its name from the first sound composition by Luciano Berio and Bruno Maderna that inaugurated the experimental practices of the Studio di Fonologia RAl in Milan in 1954. The project is the reenactment of the innovative experience that, starting with electronic music, broadcast by radio, expands into a broad vision involving architecture, art, design, and literature as elements of civil and democratic rebirth.

Little documentation for truly intense moments. In Venezia, always the treasure chest of my dreams, I witnessed an unspeakable beam of light with one of my favorite people of this fortunate life.
