Inside the Collectors Lounge Foyer (25–29 March 2026), the installation becomes a live act. Kwonny takes a blank canvas and saturates it in red—a performance that captures the energy of a community united by one powerful color.

For many of us growing up in Hong Kong, Garden “嘉頓” is far more than a brand. It is a collective memory, quietly woven into our daily lives—so familiar and ever-present that we often take it for granted. Yet this quiet, steady warmth is exactly what makes it such an authentic symbol of Hong Kong spirit.
Those who know my work understand that I mostly take on projects that hold deep personal connection and meaning to my own memories. Garden, to me, carries exactly that kind of irreplaceable weight.
I rarely share this publicly, but my grandfather （爺爺） once served as product distribution for Garden and brought this beloved Hong Kong brand to Japan. Like so many families, we always had a tin of Garden cream crackers at home when I was young—a simple, constant comfort that stayed with me throughout my childhood.
To be part of Garden’s centennial journey already feels incredibly special. Getting to work alongside dear friend @maggiehomaggie makes this even more meaningful and heartfelt.
Some connections transcend time.
Grateful to reconnect with a piece of Hong Kong’s history in this way.
