Neues aus der Galerie! 🤌🏻 „Opernball was made after a night built on surface and performance, where wealth staged itself as culture and left little room for anything alive. Later that night, I painted with a friend[…]. The painting emerged as a dialogue, a way of working through experience from the inside instead of containing it from the outside. The skull points to systems obsessed with appearance, polished on the surface and hollow underneath.“ - Micka Vojtech Die Siebdruckauflage ist in Kooperation zwischen unserem Printerhof @printerhof und Florian Perl @seasperl Künstler und Muralist aus Graz, entstanden. Bei dem 5-Farben Siebdruck wurde mit transparenten Farben und Überlagerungen gearbeitet, wodurch im fertigen Print Farbtöne und Tiefen weit über die reinen Druckfarben hinaus entstanden sind. Die Auflage ist auf 30 Stück limitiert und auf Remake Recycling Papier, 380g, naturweiß, gedruckt. Alle neuen Werke sind ab heute bei uns erhältlich, live im Showroom oder online in unserem Shop! KAH presents: THIS IS MICKA VOJTECH Micka Vojtech beschreibt seine Malerei als einen explorativen Prozess. Obwohl er oft mit einer Idee oder einem Gefühl beginnt, lässt er dem Bild Raum, sich während des Malens zu entwickeln. Ein wichtiger Einfluss sind Mythen, die für ihn zeitlose Geschichten und Prinzipien enthalten, die auch in der heutigen Gesellschaft relevant sind – auch wenn viele Menschen sich davon entfremdet haben. Einige seiner Werke entstehen aus besonderen Situationen, etwa aus einem Live-Painting in der Galerie, bei dem das Publikum den Prozess beobachten und sogar beeinflussen konnte. In anderen Arbeiten setzt er sich kritisch mit Kunst und Gesellschaft auseinander, zum Beispiel mit der Kommerzialisierung von Kunst – inspiriert durch Souvenirartikel von Gustav Klimt in Wien. Für ihn kann Malerei zwar ein einsamer Prozess sein, gleichzeitig sieht er großen Wert in Zusammenarbeit und im Austausch zwischen Künstlern, um gemeinsam stärker zu sein. Mehr Micka?
