London has a way of making sure that your heart rate never drops below 170bpm! š¬š§ Over the course of 5 days, I ādoppelgƤngedā as my favorite artist (@rexorangecounty ) to see him live for the first time, he decided to sing my favorite song on the stage, *also live for the first time ever. I took the Southeastern to Brighton and witnessed magic as @caitlinoryan spoke her truth in the form of poetry. I directed a short film I wrote after years of second-guessing myself, alongside incredible women who love to make films as much as I do and refuse to be polite about it. Spent more time commuting to places than actually being in those places. Didnāt see the Big Ben, nor Buckingham Palace. Took seven buses in the wrong direction. Rode a bike on the other side of the street, fully committed to meet my end (sorry to disappoint). Missed the right train to an important meeting, sprinted through an unfamiliar neighborhood, only to arrive at Soho House looking like Iād just ran a marathon. I exchanged warm smiles with strangers Iāll probably never see again, while staying in the home of another stranger I wish to meet soon. Went to an art show that ended in a rave inside a thrift shop next door. Didnāt drink english breakfast blend, but ate 4 cupcakes with no remorse. Took way too many selfies, because Iām obsessed with the tubeās mirrors and Brick Laneās walls! Bought my first cap at a coffee shop and have been wearing it like my life depended on it. And even though Iām for sure forgetting something, I wonāt forget this feeling: It was f***ing fantastic!

Her recent short film - The Walk - turned heads left, right and centre on International Womenās Day and further remarked on the way she crafts subtle and profound narratives.
