🕹️This one is for all the 80s kids. Stoked to finally bring those childhood dreams to life and create whatever I can imagine. I think we almost forgot how epic the 80s were… the sounds, the colors, the textures… but above all, that unmistakable vibe. And maybe that’s what AI filmmaking is really about. In this tsunami of content, it’s not about constantly pushing the craziest camera moves, the most dynamic action, or pure surreal chaos. Sure, that can be fun… but for me, it’s the ultimate tool to set a stage, create a vibe, and actually tell a story that makes you feel something. For the nerds 🧠: all stills were created with the insanely organic-looking Luma Labs agent. Flow and workflow ran through Freepik (Mystical). Video was done with Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0. ChatGPT acted as the ultimate prompt director, Suno brought that unmistakable 80s sound, and Adobe stitched it all together in Premiere. If you made it this far, you were probably wondering… so yes, you’re right. We can basically create anything we can imagine with AI now! 👉🏻Give me a call and let me push those buttons.

I thought this would be a “fun little AI experiment.” It turned into the hardest project I’ve ever done. Making something that looks good with AI? That part is getting easier. Making something simple feel real? Opening a door. Putting a cassette into a deck. Mechanical timing. Hands playing air guitar like they actually feel the music… Absolute madness. So I went straight into that problem. Not around it. This project is about a kid, a room, and a tape. And what happens the moment he hits REC. But it’s also about something else. Childhood memories. That one song you played a hundred times. That feeling you can’t really recreate… only recognize when it hits you again. No fantasy. No shortcuts. Just pushing the current limits of what “next-gen filmmaking” actually means. Almost done. Next week I’ll share the full experiment. Everyone says Ai is making filmmaking easier. I like puzzles. Especially the hard ones.🧩 That’s probably what pulls me into AI right now. Here’s a small preview of an upcoming short. I wanted to push the most advanced generative tools and see if they could handle shots that usually fall apart in AI. Things that break fast. Timing, mechanical parts, rhythm, continuity. It all started with a stupidly simple idea: air guitar. Turns out… not so simple. But I’m having a blast. Can’t wait to share the full piece. Especially if you grew up in the 80s🔥

It’s Ton-sur-Ton Thursday 😉 Texture. Color. Framing. Early tests for an upcoming project. Seeing things visually while still in the conceptual phase. Mapping how different materials behave before building the story. Interesting how much clarity you get before production even starts.
