Anyone who has talked to me personally has known I've been really struggling with continuing my stp/aff course.
After the first two dive flows, I couldn't seem to see skydiving as anything other than this big scary, overwhelming monster, and I was really considering stopping completely, just couldn't find any way out of the fear that was swallowing me and I definitely wasn't seeing it as anything fun... After about 2 months of avoiding jumping, today I drove back to the drop zone and almost decided I wasn't going to try jumping anymore, I was leaning more towards being done, was terrified to even do a tandem 🤯. But thanks to Leo, and his kind words and fun freefall therapy session of screaming at the "sky demons" with me, I was able to actually have fun with it again and I am actually excited, for once, about continuing the course.
